FindProof helps users ask questions about any webpage and verify the answer with highlighted evidence from the original source. Users can open the side panel, ask a question in plain English, and receive a concise AI answer connected to supporting passages from the active page.

Privacy and Data Handling
When a user submits a question, the question and extracted text from the active page are securely sent to FindProof's cloud service for AI processing.
- FindProof reads the active webpage while the side panel is open to prepare searchable text.
- FindProof does not sell data or use it for advertising.
- FindProof does not collect complete Chrome browsing history.
- FindProof does not crawl browser history or automatically analyze every page in the background.
- Recent answers are stored separately for each tab in Chrome temporary session storage and are cleared when the browser session ends.
- AI answers may be incomplete or incorrect, so users should verify important information against the highlighted source.
- FindProof should not be used for medical, legal, financial, safety, emergency, or other high-stakes decisions.
