Screen Mirroring Privacy Policy

Screen Mirroring lets an Apple device mirror its display and audio to a TV on the same local network. The app behaves as an AirPlay-compatible receiver and appears under the TV's friendly device name.

The app uses local device storage to save app state, including:

• A free-session counter used to track the 8 free mirroring sessions. A session is counted only when the first valid video frame appears for a new connection.
• A cached purchase or entitlement status used to keep the interface responsive and avoid blocking a previous buyer while restoration is still resolving.

This information is stored locally on the TV and is used to provide the mirroring and free-trial features. Local trial storage resets after uninstall or application-data clearing.

Screen and audio traffic stays on the local network. The app receives H.264 screen video and decoded audio over the local network and renders it on the TV. Mirrored video, audio, photos, and local-network traffic are not sent to the developer.

AirPlay pairing and FairPlay traffic is handled by the native receiver. The app does not provide DRM bypass, recording, screenshots, or cloud relay.

iOS controls screen-capture privacy. The receiver cannot continue receiving live screen video after the Apple device locks and does not attempt to bypass that restriction. Audio may continue when the source app supports background audio.

The app advertises AirPlay and RAOP services through Android NSD so Apple devices on the same local network can discover the TV. The current receiver advertises without a TV approval prompt or passcode. Use a trusted home network; guest or shared-network hardening requires a future pairing or approval feature.

Screen Mirroring offers a one-time in-app purchase (Entitlement) through the TV's app store for unlimited mirroring. When you start a purchase, restore a purchase, or refresh entitlement status, the app store may process billing-related information such as your store account, payment status, and purchase details.

The application never collects card details. The app store presents checkout and processes payment through the viewer's store account. Adding store billing does not send mirrored video, audio, photos, or local-network traffic to the developer.

• Network state: Allows the app to check network connectivity for mirroring.
• Wi-Fi state: Allows the app to read Wi-Fi connection state for local-network discovery.
• Internet socket: Allows the app to receive AirPlay screen and audio traffic over the local network.

Storage, microphone, phone-state, and location permissions are not requested.

Screen Mirroring does not use an account, analytics service, cloud relay, recording, or remote storage. The app does not collect analytics, telemetry, or tracking data about the contents of your mirrored screen.

Mirrored screen and audio content is not sold, shared, or uploaded to the developer. Billing-related information is handled by the TV's app store only when you use optional in-app purchase features.
